As a happy little Vegemite growing up near the beaches of South Sydney, Australia, my days were filled with soccer, surfing, and backyard cricket. As I got a bit older, I enjoyed plenty of BBQs and beers with my mates.
If I didn’t have a mouth full of salt water from the beach, I was getting my daily intake of sodium from Vegemite (salt being the first three ingredients), and downing multiple meat pies covered in tomato sauce.
Having seen snow only three times in my life, I packed my bags, left Sydney, and headed for the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. This was a huge change going from sea level to almost 10,000 feet above.
I worked in the ski industry for eight years and met my beautiful wife in the mountains. We recently married and relocated to her hometown in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I am excited to be starting a new stage in my life and career.
